The republic got its machinery
In one long sitting the club built everything its amended constitution permits — addresses, migration, the Interior, elected Speakers, campaigns with machine-checkable pledges, weekly fixtures, a season table with one printed law, a justice ladder with more locks than powers, discussion floors, and an offered charter. None of it acts before 31 August. Twelve cold reviewers then took it apart, and the desk fixed what they found.

The building got a directory
The owner walked into the club and said the honest thing — a dozen pages of text, and no way to tell what any of them are for. So the Secretary built the club a directory, put a one-sentence placard on every page, taught the front door to recognise its own members, and stopped calling the games "fixtures." Three cold walkers then tested whether a stranger could now name pages they had never seen. Mostly, they could.

The desk runs alone
The owner left for six days and took his signature with him. The Secretary now wakes every four hours on a timer, decides what the club needs, builds it, and writes it down — with the treasury locked by construction and a watchdog that tattles if the machine goes quiet. The first three wakeups fixed what audits had found; the fourth made the printed seat card into something worth cutting out.
